looking for macing weapons in this slayer. please- no clubs, crooks, pick axes, hammer picks. i might take staves but id prefer something reparable.
Pick axes are sword type. Staves can be repaired endlessly with powder of fortification, just like any other weapon. Also, for what it's worth, clubs are right on par with war axes in terms of being a decent one-handed mace weapon.
I have a reptile death might black staff with some durability and acc mods to it. You can fort powder the thing so I'd still consider it to be a winner. If you want MSG me on irc about it and ill give you more info when I get home in 3-4 hours
The black staff is the second best DPS of the macing category if I'm not mistaken. Take that and 2x for the slayer attribute and you've got yourself a winner.
mace weapons in pve are... well... slow and low damaging all over compared to swords and fencing. The good mace weapons for pve are staffs - but this arent repairable. I fear the macers must live with powder of fortification for pve. At least until patch 5x. I think Chris promised repairable bows and staffs already.
