I just tried it...and it works exactly as you say, but only as a 1 time use. Its not like its repeatable. I mean, it is repeatable but the banked runebook closes after 1 use and you need to go to your bank and set it up again. I am one of the pauper scum who does NOT have a blessed runebook (not by choice lol...)and just my opinion but I think this should be fixed immediately. Work for your goals and earn them IMO. This is broken and shouldnt be like this. Where does it end? Hey Id love to have a special mask dye 1150 but its only 1x use and disappears after I die or after 4 hours but I can go back and bug it out to work again when it does! Doesnt work like that though....i need to farm the gold in order to get that special item, or BOD my ass off until Im lucky enough to get what I want. FWIW.......
I doubt many newbs are using it regularly. It's simply a bug that hasn't been adressed yet. My advice is, skip discussing Trammel/Felucca and/or Rich/Poor issues and bug Telamon about the bug. Bug bug buggydy buuu.
Noobs don't use the bug. And it is a bug. And no, they shouldn't use a bug. Telamon is wrong (if he really stated it is on purpose for new players) and I know it better. Same procedure as every discussion.
Oh, you ask how I do know that? Because even year-long vets only happen to stumble upon the bug by chance. How would a new player know it is a feature, it isn't mentioned or explained anywhere. It's just a bug, that has to be found by chance. And then most people still think, it is a bug that shouldn't be that way and won't use it. I really cant imagine, why anybody would say, this is a feature instead of admitting that there is no time to code it out.
Never used it. Don't plan to. Don't expect to have a blessed Runebook for at least another 6 months and I'm absolutely fine with that.
Well, they know about it now, that's for sure. And creative noob will just buy 16 runebooks and open them all and have 16 uses. A free blessed runebook has now been created
"There is no time to code it out" There I have said it. Bigger more important and more impactful "Features and Fixes" are on the books, this one is in the books and prioritized correctly
