There is an exploit, of stealing the town sigil of a town controlled by your faction, and corrupting it, as to keep players from other factions from being able to steal the sigils. This exploit is currently being used by the SL faction to maintain control of all 8 cities. The player/players doing this are doing it as soon as the corruption of the sigil is over. Therefore, effectively making it impossible for any other factions to take over cities. This may be a retail exploit, but I have seen game functionality here, that is not the same as retail. So lets not use that as an excuse to allow these players to cheat.
I implore the game administers, to add the ability for the server to stop someone from stealing their own town sigils.

While we are on the topic of factions, can we put faction tracking back in. And lose the trammie warnings for traps. Also bolas and spell delay correction would be great.

Shadow Lord players are stealing the town sigils, in towns already controlled by the Shadow Lords. They are then taking the sigils to their stronghold, and corrupting the sigils, which they then take back to the city. This is how a faction claims a city, and gets a period of time where the sigil is protected from being stolen. They are claiming their own city, in essence, gaining the protected period of time all over again. It's a cheat bug they're exploiting.

This is not a bug, this is the intended mechanics result. Once a city is open to be stolen & begin the corruption process, any faction may attempt to corrupt the towns. The current owners of the cities themselves are not restricted from attempting to re-claim their own cities & receive the 3 day protection period again.

We can look into it, I wasn't aware faction tracking was ever a mechanic here nor was it removed.

    No

    No

Damage delays will remain at 1 second as they are now
