    Hey all.

Quick question about stabled pets. The FAQ in the guides section says that pets are on a 7 day decay timer.

I swear I have had pets for far longer than that, who have been in stables for weeks.

    How does this work exactly?

    Thanks.

At the moment there is no pet decay. There's also no ongoing charge after the initial 30gp.

I believe Chris is working on changing some of this.

    That's good news.

    Thanks for the reply.

Meaning you are charged when you stable but it does not recur weekly, or whatever? Never knew this.

Most decay can be predictably modeled using a half life formula; however when a specific sub atomic particle decays is a random event that is not subject to accurate predictions. So "stable decay" is accurate only for large (on an atomic scale) amounts of decaying particles.

    I'll show myself out. :)
