so you can earn up to 20 based on your skill My question is does each anaimal take one spot or is it like control spots on a player? And if so what's the value of each animal for that? Thanks
Yes, one animal, dragon, or other always only takes up one stable slot. Via skills you can get 20 slots but with additional bonding slots you also get +1 stable slot. In theory you can have over 100 stable slots on a single toon provided that toon has 80+ additional bonding slots. My toon Keza Fire has 13 bonding slots and stables 30ish pets at a time.
I am confused about this. I understand that you do "taming quests" to get +1 bond slot, and with each additional +1 bond slot you also get an accompanying +1 stable slot. But, what is the base # of stable slots for an average non tamer character? What skills affect the # of stable slots? Im assuming its Animal Taming and Animal Lore....does Veterinary do anything? What is the equation for additional stable slots based on character skills, and what is the max # of slots a 7x GM tamer will have prior to any "taming quests"? (assume 100tame/100lore/100vet - 400 whatever)
Each character has 6 stable slots by default. Based on your skills in animal taming, animal lore and veterinary you can have up to 20 stable slots. 100 Total Skills = 10 Slots 200 Total Skills = 14 Slots 250 Total Skills = 17 Slots 300 Total Skills = 20 Slots Pets currently do not decay when stabled even if you do not refresh them. Patch 53 Update: Each bonded pet slot you earn from the zookeepers quest expands your stable slots by one as well.
