As we start our adventure into Destard for Epic dungeon weekend, we are greeted by a tamer fleeing! "in vas mani" he yells as he runs by... well, that's a strange greeting, I think to myself. Though I carry on. HMM what's this I have stumbled across?! A new area of Destard not only for PKs and tamers. BAH must be trickery! Dare I? look at all the possible loot in there!! Am I even strong enough to carry it all once I am done infiltrating the chests?! ... well... no point in looking back now. but what is this... THREE piles of gold!?! how ever will these feeble arms carry such a load! ahh, worry not! for they have tricked me and made the piles small... we rogues are smarter then we appear... don't worry, I will help you lessen the load further... hmmmmm this is a VERY nice spot to find loot... maybe I should mark a rune inside this wonderful oasis! surely if I am quick enough no one will spot me and I may come back and check to see if they are foolish enough to leave it laying here a second time... Counting Stealth Steps 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... BOOF! What trickery is this? You don't care when I steal from your chest but you care when I mark a rune! BAH! I am sure I can survive your weak attacks! I have heard nothing but how weak bows are... HMMM perhaps rogues are NOT as smart as I thought... LIES! The whispers in taverns are NOT true! These bows HURT, even KILL! Perhaps this poor rogue should get a second chance? WELL, this is not a good start. If I am going to do this... I may as well do it in STYLE! Off we go, back into the depths of Destard. This epic dungeon is living up to its name. old friend... we meet again. Perhaps this time I shall not be so bold and foolish! will my corpse still be there? Has some one found my last human remains and taken the chance to lighten MY load of gold piles?! MY LOOT?! SUCCESS! I have made it, and what is this... no one has taken my clothing, well if this is not my lucky day... A hard days work is never done! For there are more chests to infiltrate and more piles of gold to find! A treasure Hunters life I have chosen... and a fine life indeed! another lock picked, another chest infiltrated. My fingers start to ache from the painstaking work done to open the locks. I wipe the sweat from my Brow and push on. Tired, Sure. Nervous, of course. For this is the epic dungeon. but I carry on! Making sure I count my steps... Well, maybe I should have quit while I was ahead? Sweat got into my eye and I did not see this chest was different then the rest... for this chest had copper and platinum! The whispers are true, not only tamers find this wonderful rare currency anymore... HAZA! Until next adventure, may your packs stay heavy with loot and may PK's forever be long behind you.
