Hey y’all! So I know server population is down a bit this year so the Hype Train ™️ is probably gonna be more like a Hype Tram or maybe some sort of electrified Hype Light Railcar this year…but I'm sure lots of people who haven't played much this year will be back at least for the happiest season, and I’m still excited for it!! Do we have any info so far? Hues? Dates/Times? Event plans? Other special stuff? We are sure it's even happening, right? If everything IS on the up-and-up, and things pop off according to schedule, then it should be happening in pretty much exactly one month!! Looking forward to it, as usual…ever since 2nd Anni (I missed 1st Anniversary unfortunately) this has always been my favorite event!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT SCAVENGER HUNT AND THEM SWEET, SWEET BAGS!!!

Plans: I dont like sharing plans that I cant make happen. The plans require others to take action that havent yet. But here is what is real... There have been hue suggestions available for the past couple months to all volunteers and staff to comment on for Anniversary, Easter & Leppys. Due to their amount of UOR Time, they may not have gotten the message, but they are out in the open for all of them to view. Any final Hue will need to be approved by the only person who can apply them to ingame items - Telamon. Anniv Scavenger Hunt has always been a manual process and COMPLETELY within the control of Telamon. It will be up to him to determine how and when that event will take place. He has had to take several days of vacation to make them happen previously. I am not sure thats an option for him this year, so the event may evolve... to what extent, I do not know. While he has announced handing over some responsibilities to lighten his load, that has not happened yet. Until or unless it does, there is not much anyone can do other than keep UOR running as smoothly as possible as it currently is. I love HYPE as much as the next person, but I wont HYPE something before its ready
I have been here since 2nd anniversary as well. Love the event, the surge in activity, the random excitement of the gift bags.... all of it. Makes me pine for the good ol'days.
Some people always complain that they always lose on scav hunt, I guess this is their chance to have the event changed to catter to their needs again!
Dont you ever get tired of the negativity... There is a very logical reason why the scav event may evolve... surely you are bright enough to figure it out.... Here is a hint... It is NOT to make it easier for ANYONE to compete it....not even you
This is a HYPE thread!! 11 years in there obviously isn't as much to get excited about as there used to be... so that's even MORE of a reason to just go with the flow. Let's all just hope for the best and be happy with what we get!
