Ok, Im trying to upgrade a house from a small to a sandstone but it has a guildstone in it.

Is there a way to do this without disbanding the guild entirely and deleting the stone?

Im worried that If I drop the small, the stone will stay there and block my placement...

    Thanks! :)

You could test by placing a random house somewhere and inside placing a guildstone, but afaik you can drop the house, then dbl click guildstones and recieve a gump asking to send it to the guildstone GY?

    Is it your guildstone?

If it is - double click the stone and select the move this guildstone option, you'll get a blue ball gem thing, give this to another character and place a small house somewhere, anywhere on the map with that other character and then double click that stone in the house with the character that just placed it.

Then, double click the stone again with the GM of the guild and select to move it again, get the blue ball gem in your pack and go and redeed the original house, place the sandstone and then double click the blue ball gem while standing on the tile you want the guild stone on.

Drop the other house you just placed for the temp stone placement and go and get your money back!

If it is NOT your guildstone, drop the house, double click the stone and condemn it. This will make it disappear.

Alternatively, yea, you can page a GM.

    :)

OK, its Toon#1's Guildstone and house.

OOOOOK, so the guildmaster doesnt have to re-place the stone then? I can have any guildie move it and place it in their house?

The guildmaster DOES have to be the one to replace the stone, in a house HE owns.

if/when a guild stone removal tool is patched in to the player's control... I wish for it to be in the form of a stick of dynamite with a timer.

    Exploding guildstones.

    Think about it.

Ok, just to finish this off, it was ridiculously easy to do once I thought about it.

Step1: Clean out the house of all items except the guildstone.
    Step2: Buy a small house.
Step3: Initiate the guildstone transfer process and get your blue gem.
Step4: Transfer ownership of the guildhouse to an alt of yours or a person you trust.
Step5: Replace the guildstone into guildmasters new small home.
Step6: Drop guildhouse, place new guildhouse in its place.
    Step7: Repeat step 3.
Step8: Drop the small house and transfer ownership of new guildhouse to guildmaster.
Step9: Replace guildstone in the new guildhouse.
Step10: Sell your small deed back to the real-estate guy and pray that you never have to do this when all the house spots have been taken!!
