What's with the dungeon spawn lately?

    Recently monster spawn has gone through the roof around several level 4 chests. A couple weeks ago by the Deceit mushrooms, I'd see a poison elemental and maybe a shade or two, and last week there'd be an extra couple shades and a liche lord. Now this...

    There was another half dozen shades just to the NW. What gives?

    Yes, the undead champ spawn, which is also the reaaon why you cant recall directly into the mushroom room.

    Looks more like the spawn is currently active in his picture as opposed to just leftovers.

    Yeah, that looks active. I believe one of the spawns are automatically activated each day by the server.

    !!! That would answer the question, whether the egg or the hen was first (translated into UO: whether valor virtue points or champ spawns to kill were first)!

    Correct. There is always one in fel active and one in t2a active by default.
