I do sometimes. the "random" music that plays while you're not in town gets annoying, but i've found this awesome youtube channel with hours of songs that I just let play in the background with dark nights on when I really just want to get lost in the game. I guess it's two brothers who make these different songs, like medeival tavern music, wandering forest, epic battle music, all sorts of stuff.. check it out!
Can't get the music to play on a Mac I'm sure if I could listen to it - I'd have it on mute right now now - but because I can't...I want it hahah I normally just have whatever I've been bumpin' too on Spotify play but at a lower volume. Mostly 90's rap. I find the juxtaposition between Notorious BIG and mediaeval villages ironic and amusing.
I've a version that uses Chrono Trigger for the cities and certain sound effects. When I'm not using that I play progressive concept albums on shuffle. .
@Earsnot You're playing on a mac? I'm assuming you're using the UOR package? Have you figured out a way to run multiple instances at the same time? I haven't, so I have to run UOR in a windows VM, which is not ideal .
I like the music, I used to keep it on but I turned of it off because it loops here. I enjoyed hearing the midi music every now and again upon town entry or when you head out into the open land but when it plays back to back it is too much.
CMD right click, make duplicate x 2 Rename all 3 icons whatever you want, I have mine as the characters names for ease. Boom - multiple clients - running - at the same time.
would be an easy fix. i could add like 15 mins (or so) of silence on the end of each sound file so it doesnt loop, or have it loop a couple time before the silence. though i dont have any software on my cpu atm, as its been some time since ive messed with mp3 sound files or any sound at that
Yep, love the music. I will admit that every so often I have to turn it off due to the whole loop thing mentioned above. But it never stays off long.
