This is just a quick guide to get around that 1000 starting gold that can't be used to train skills. This require no combat skills, or any other for that matter.

The first thing you need to do is get yourself a horse. After you're on a mount head to the nearest Moongate and get to Moonglow. Now that Moonglow has a stable master, it would make for an optimal starting city for this guide. Once you get to Moonglow head out to the cotton and flax fields and pick them clean. Don't forget to shear any sheep you see along the way with your newbie dagger. After you have finished with those fields get to the Moongate and head to Yew. From the Yew Gate, head south(ish) to the sheep pens and shear all of the sheep in all three pens (getting you 30 wool). Next head back to the gate and set it to Skara Brae. There is usually one sheep near the gate so shear it and then head to the Skara cotton field. After you pick the cotton, run back to Skara and sell the wool, flax and cotton tot he tailor.

Using this method I was able to make 1817 gold in around 11 minutes. The items required 183 stone of weight capacity so you may need to bank the good before you finish the circuit.

Let me know what you guys think. I'm feeling a bit lazy at the moment so I didn't add pictures but I wanted to get the thought out there.

    great guide.

I think pictures and more step by step instructions (bullet points? lists?) would make this perfect.

also, buy items at 1gp and sell them back at 1gp, otherwise known as money laundering.
main problem is you can only sell 5 items at a time, but with a sell agent, it can go pretty quickly.

provisionners sell beeswax or something like that at 1gp.
