The owner is probably a Marine or a wanna-be Marine. As far as I know, Cynic and I are the only RL Marines that play this shard, and it's not my house. There is however a guy with an IRC identity... "marine-something or other" who has admitted to not being a Marine but he does have a few characters that have Marine-themed names. Maybe a house too?
I am not a wannabe or any such other individual that you are grouping me into. As well I have not claimed ONCE that I am a marine and hate any other #$#$#$ who would fake such a thing. I have stated that it is a nickname I have used for easily 10 years across multiple gaming communities. You as well have your facts wrong. I do not have any other such nicknames or characters with marine used in any way besides marine1217, that individual with other names is not I.
Wow that came out of nowhere. Who knows/cares exactly how many marines/ex-marines are playing here and how would anyone have a clue as to exactly how many of them have ever played/are playing on this server? Sheesh. I mean hell, maybe the guy is a marine biologist. Not really a big deal.
Marine1217, he wasn't grouping you into the wanna-be category, I would assume, considering he said you admitted you were not a Marine in the US military sense. There have been plenty of fakers in the gaming community as a whole, which is what I guess he meant by that.
