Ladies and Gentlemen, I have no idea what that rapscallion Abramelin is up to, nor that delinquent Horse, but I've been busy banging my head with the Stone Elementals. If you're interested in helping me out with the cost of bandages and headache cures, please make a bid. 200 Stone Ingots for your stone-crafting needs. sb 95k Thanks for looking and happy bidding, Azoth The highest bid to stand for 24 hours wins
Don't you dare degrade Horse! He has done more than you could ever imagine, riding you or Abramelin's lazy ass around Sosaria to make sure you're always in time to purchase your wares. Do you ever cut poor Horse in on some of the coin? Nay! Horse and I talk and you better be careful what you say about him or the next ride will end up with you or Abramelin face down in the dirt. Delinquent! Pshh. HORSE will hear about this act of betrayal! Do not underestimate Horse, for he is one intelligent beast. Need I post evidence of the slaughter that took place when Horse and Abramelin battled on the chess board? Lets just say Horse went easy on him and still galloped away with the victory. Oh, and good luck with your Ingot sale. I trust you've learned your lesson and will never talk badly about Horse again.
Taliic, Horse thanks you for your support against that neigh-sayer Azoth He does feel he should mention, though, that Azoth did fill the courtyard with hay specially for him and Abramelin even sings him that Neil Young song, "My, My, Hay, Hay" while he grazes. They both have promised to be good and are giving him all the nice green holiday coins they can get for him (not many at the moment, but they'll do their best). Here's Horse admiring His courtyard: p.s. Abramelin still gets confused with boardgames. He keeps trying to play checkers, even though it's a chessboard. Horse is, let us say, "understanding" p.p.s Horse asks, please convince Telamon to include a new saddle add-on, for the sake of all the horses (and other beasts of burden) in Sosaria. Abramelin has a very bony bottom!!
Haha that's great. I'm very glad Horse is well taken care of. He deserves it! Such a beautiful stallion he is.
Taliic, you will be particularly pleased to hear that Azoth, in penitence, has renamed their home Castrum Equi - Horse's Fort!
Horse and I just got off the cellular and he's thrilled about the new name! He wants just one more thing though... A statue erected on the front ramparts, nothing too fancy, just something that captures his muscular features and keen agility. Perhaps a towering mold of our hero on his hind legs to greet any and all visitors to Castrum Equi - Horse's Fort. Another thing you should know... Right before we hung up Horse muttered something about 'delinquents' not having 1000 platinum readily available in their bank account so Azoth would be footing the bill.
Azoth and Abramelin are hanging their heads in shame (and not the dungeon of that name). 1000 platinum for a fitting monument to his High and Wondrous Horsiness would be a fine thing, but we must all just hope for the generous donations of the far more solvent (oops, my wife has abandoned me and gone to bed ... urrr ... "watch this space")
Almost lost within all the Horse-related discussion, yours is the only bid for the ingots, Andersonius. If there's nothing by the time we trade the Stone Table, I'll close the auction and hand over the ingots too. Then Taliic and I can dream of a statue to the Great and Glorious Horse
Taliic, this has got Abramelin all confused. Now he's trying to make it up to Horse by getting him some carrots. Horse teased him and now the poor soul is going around asking people for 24 Carrot Gold! Horse sends a wink
haha. I'll cut Abramelin some slack and ease up on my gifts to Horse. I bought him a full set of 1st Anniversary Jewelry the other day. I'm sure that can boost an ego or two and set a precedent for all future gifts. I will say though, getting that ring on his hoof was no easy task. I suggested wearing it on his new necklace but you know Horse, there's no telling him what to do.
You know we were really puzzled when Horse got back from seeing you. We thought you'd been practicing dressage moves, the way he kept lifting up his hoof. Then we noticed the sparkles, like a mini version of ReZon's tower, and realized what he was trying to show us. It's such a beautiful ring that he absolutely refuses to go out now when it's muddy. Abramelin's desperately looking for those carrots. He tells me he's got 20; only 4 to go! *groan*
Bless him, he's not the brightest candle in the box, but Abramelin does his best. Here's a shot of him giving Horse his version of 24 Carrot/Carat Gold: Horse, very discreetly, did not show off your ring or necklace (which he keeps in his horse-box)
Haha, too funny. The look on Horse's face tells it all. I'm glad we can at least entertain ourselves with all this Horse talk, if no one else. That's one way to keep a thread bumped too, that's for sure.
