Considering Selling These Purple Anniversary Thigh Boots However, only if they will go for the "right" price. I see that Purple/Red Sandals are fetching a premium but as the item database continues to update there appears to be more sandals than thigh boots. As such I am curious if these boots will fetch the same or higher premium. In my opinion the thigh boots look nicer than sandals as there is more color and would look GREAT if I had the matching pants to model in. But I know certain items regardless of rarity are more desirable than others. Therefore, consider this thread (for now) a price check post. As @LanDarr pointed out in his pinned posts. There are many opinions as to what something is worth. So if the experts, collectors, veterans could please reply and give me some idea, I would really appreciate it. Mutilate hit it pretty good with the 2-4 mil estimate. Personally, I think they're more like 1.5-2.5, but potatoe potatoe.
Not sure what I ever did that was mean to you Winter, to the contrary all our PM Discord conversations have been cordial and nice. We haven't had any conversation elsewhere. Nor do I PvP or harass anyone in game. I personally like you despite your upset towards me as a result of those conversations we have had. Additionally, my circle of friends all say you are a great person. As stated, I agree. I'm still baffled to say the least and instead of discussing it as adults you simply say "you" as your explanation for disdain of me. All I can think of is you were upset at my plat buying post which some people where but it's confusing as you never replied to thread or attacked me like other did. Regardless, the post is done as I bought all the plat I needed for the price range I wanted. It is now dead and buried and everyone can move on. If there is another reason I would really like to know because as I said, I prefer to be friendly with the non-toxic players on this server. Yeah bro I've always had only the best interactions with you *shrugs* But, getting more to the point - I think Mutilate and Winter are right that no matter how rare, thigh boots will never be worth as much as sandals (or even regular boots in my experience). That said, they're still very cool and very rare and I wouldn't take any less than 1.5m for them. I'd bet an auction with a 1m SB and 100k BI's would see them fetching between 1.5-2.5m. OR you could hold onto them and the right buyer might offer you 2m+? In any case, good luck with the sale and I wish you many shinies & pixels in the future!!!!
Lol well I tend to think I am nice guy until someone pokes the bear. But then I again I dont think anyone actually believes they are an asshole so maybe I am. I have 300 posts though and only 1 got people upset and it wasnt a direct attack on anyone, just an offer to buy at a certain price. But I can see where it was poor forum, however it got the job done so I can please everyone. I wish i knew how to manifest these boots in test center. You were never mean to me, you just rubbed me the wrong way. I guess it was the way you came on the forums and just commented, with no intention of bidding or buying, on nearly every for sale post. Then you began your plat crusade and started commenting on every play thread. It was flat out annoying. For a time it seemed like no matter where I looked, there you were, being "toxic" as you say. That was when I decided you could pound sand. That's pretty much it. I don't hate you...I just don't like you.
Understandable, the only defense to that is as I stated above, about poking the bear. My original sale post was intended to get private offers which I got some and ultimately met my quota for the plat I needed. Had I not been attacked or I reached my quota immediately via private offers (as requested) the thread would have been buried quickly. It only escalated further after being personally attacked and told my asking price was too low. I only then did I began my plat crusade replying to posts that had plat at or around the price i offered. It was intend to prove my point that my asking was not ridiculous off base like people were saying. Additionally, it was intended more of a defense, such as evidence, than to harass or annoy. I also had no intention annoying the neutral players such as yourself. So for that I apologize. Regardless, I appreciate you taking the time to address your issues with me and I understand should you decide to continue to refrain from trading with me and/or even talking to me.
