what was your top end dmg with this wep? my +20 large battle axe of power would hit normally for 92-99 with a high damage of 102. Does this one have comparable swings? Is it faster/slower swing? I've heard that tactics after 100 doesn't effect damage, so in essence a +5 and +20 should be the same? I'm still trying to figure this out tho. That damage is on the regular elves, not the mini-bosses. High end damage on the mini-bosses was in the 70s.
It should modify it, but not if youre already at 100% combat efficiency to my knowledge. means its pretty much capped at 100, if you have a halfway decent STR and GM Anat+Tactics
I was wondering if a vanq warhammer could get over my 102 with a crushing blow. Ive only capped 100 once, and it was 102, but ive gotten 90-99 hundreds of times.
Right, that is what I have come to believe. So pretty much a +25 item is only good if you are going to roll with 75 tactics and put the extra 25 points in hiding or meditation haha Which really is quite stupid, considering the difference in cost for a +5 vanq vs a +25 vanq etc. But for this particular sale, its a GREAT thing considering this weapon is just as good as a +25 power! Easily worth the SB.
In theory you could make a realy nice build if you drop tactics to 75 and only use +25 Weapons. That would open 25 points for Poisoning (lesser poisons during combats can be handy) or 25 Tracking.. or any kind of wacky 8x template (all you Lumberjack Mages out there) Anyways.. back to the auction!
