Check out Section 10 for an alternative way to IDOC that might appeal more to factioners. TBH, I never understood why factioners stayed clear of IDOCing other than the tedious shits: pretty much the only way to get big fights these days and the rewards are nice. We had zero fear of any of the competition that came against us -- but factioners made us poop a little.

    Just a little.

This is what makes UO the best game ever - shit just happens.

-When I did play - hated SL and TT but they really did make this server fun. Sneaky lil basterds.

In 3 months yall gonna be buds @TC and @Gid

Anyways - see yall maybe in 3 months ish / And Pill if yall wanna wear them outfits just pm me. Family probs deterred my gameplay.

Wait a minute, so staff here allowed you to create alternate accounts which were used to drive up prices on your own auctions? I'm surprised you'd come right out with that.

Staff said it was not against the rules to create an alternative account to sell goods with the understanding if we bid up our own auctions, which is against the rules, we would not be welcome on the forums any longer.

You need to go back to school to learn how to properly read between the lines.

    Session Start: Wed Jul 29 02:37:05 2015
    Session Ident: Telamon
15[02:39] <TrojanCow> I just want to confirm that this is not against the rules. I hope not because selling idoc spoils on this hyper-emotional server would be quite messy and dramatic.
[09:54] <Telamon> It would only be an issue if you were bidding on your own sales to raise the value of the items sold, otherwise it should be fine
[09:54] <Telamon> as long as its for non nefarious purposes
15[10:26] <TrojanCow> Sweet. The account was Bestial, which I probably won't be using anymore, for the record.
[10:30] <Telamon> no problem, not really a rule for that, other than the fake bidding issue, or harrassment

Edit: It's not like staff will look into anything to confirm or take action, so why do I bother.

At least he asked and got a good generic staff-pretends-to-know-nothing answer.

    Oh, you mean like this?

    http://uorforum.com/threads/many-2nd-anniversary-items.11725/#post-102110

For the uninformed, Bestial=Trojancow's alternate forum account

    Or how about this

    http://uorforum.com/threads/high-en...all-sales-complete-3-trades-left.14544/page-3

Attila the OP, is Iago and what do you know, there Iago is bidding up his own items. There are also several O^S idoc members bidding on items that if this guide is to be believed could have just bought the items beforehand for a set price yet none of them chose to? How strange

Here's an entire 7 page thread of butthurt O^S idoc dudes on their main and alternate forum accounts harassing and generally being unpleasant because erlkonig posted some idoc timers.

    http://uorforum.com/threads/idocs-w-timer-refreshed.13019/

    Idoc members in that thread:

    Trojancow
    Cynic
    Amfekk
    Attila (alternate forum account)
    Wolfbane ( alternate forum account)
    El horno

Will any of these clowns be banned for any of these obviously Bannable offenses or the above actions I posted? LOL. I wouldn't hold my breath.

@Chris any comments on Punt's posts above and the actual proof that quite often the trade forum rules and verbally communicated rules have been broken?

Give us the Reader's Digest version of who's who, so we don't have to sift through the 7 pages of nonsense lol. Interesting stuff here but damn it hurts my head reading it all hehe

A little anecdote: So at one point there was a little bit of competition at idocs with the UO guild, who was at the time having SL/TT help with muscle. One of the final straws of that group's attempts to IDOC was when one of their members sold a fortress obtained at an idoc to Kane without holding an auction. Instant butthurt amongst the other members in the group because their payday was essentially lessened because of the decision to sell the fortress privately for less then it may have gotten at auction.

From Trojan's guide "For so long as your members feel that everyone is doing their fair share and are compensated handsomely for it, even an IDOC guild made up of utterly disparate personalities can flourish in relative harmony."

During my time with the idoc guild, the only items you could purchase straight from the guild were bulk resources. Everything else had to be won at an auction so the other members would know they were getting max value for their efforts. This is the only fair way, and doing otherwise would likely have ended in the groups demise, as it did for UO/TT idoc.

Ultimately you should be willing to pay whatever you bid on something. If you think something is too expensive, don't bid.

Any comments on the supposedly shill bids (that's how Jack of Shadows called them, I think) ? You must have been very aware of this.

Additum: I mean using alt forum accounts like they have been used without any reason except potentially shill bidding. If I see it right, people have been bidding even with both main and alt forum accs in these auctions.

What Elhorno said. Also, as always, TT you are misinformed. Some of those accounts do not actually belong to the people you say they do. You guys have been wrong so often, why do you even bother?

For shitsakes, stay out of my thread and don't come back. You'd think that with these guys being your number one, number two, number three, and number four favorite people to hate that you would be grateful of my efforts here. My lord but you guys are thick.

Please take all your accusations. Keep them and continue them. But not in this thread. Start another one.

Now I need to pause writing to report and scrub.
