Yeah, it's interesting. There are times, when the connection is acceptable with stable 200-250ms, but then there seems to be times when the connection is disturbed by very frequent lagg spikes + desyncs.
I think it also was part of staying with the same company that is now a sub company of the one that bought it and it was moved to specific servers of the level3 systems. At least that was my understanding but I could be wrong
my ping went up 80 from 30 to 110. I'm on the east coast (where the server should be located). I don't think this move is a long term solution but I do understand why it was made. I may seem biased, and that's fine. If I was on the west coast i'd be hootin and hollerin about my new ping, but i'd also know from a centralization standpoint the server should not be located in the west coast.
The Potatameter A "grass roots" campaign produced a marvel of science and technology that can accurately predict the moment an admin loses all hope in getting any further meaningful information from a thread and clicks away. All posts after the point are forever lost.
Anyone having issues with items locked down "falling under" other objects? I've had to raise/lower several decor items that seem to randomly get out of whack since the move...
I don't know about deco, but I am frequently freezing for periods of 1-4 seconds and losing connection altogether on at least one client multiple times a night. That is with sub 50 ping.
