People generally call brightly colored items “Trammel” because it alludes to being a bank sitter, someone who is risk averse and cozy to the idea of consensual PVP only (generalizing). I think the negative connotation is that Trammel came about purely because it appealed to a broader audience which would, in the long run, make more money for OSI/EA, while marginalizing the hardcore base of players that enjoyed the PK aspects of the game. Thus, when brightly colored items and cosmetic items are put in place over balancing/tweaking PVP aspects, it seems like the same thing all over again to the ‘hardcore’ population. Just my two cents on that topic, grats on the sale that's a dang fortress!

Hell, I remember when he started and I told him to hit up ReZon for new player housing to macro in. Had an L shape like a week later, then a tower. He's playing the game and doing it pretty well.
