    I have a macbook...

I play UO through VMWare fusion and Windows 7 64x Enterprise

I can play other shards pretty well via this method without many problems, however here i freeze/quit as i log on my second account, and freeze about a minute into running around on my primary account.

I am not capable of windows virtualization (Windows XP mode) as i come to find, and im wondering if I'm screwed?!?!

Please help me, I really wanted to get going on this shard today!!!!1

I did all of that. Still doing the same thing. Let me remind you:

    - I'm using windows on vmware fusion
    - I do not have windows xp mode on my comp.
    - I have the fully patched UO classic client installed
    - Works fine for shards with newer era server's..

    please help!

You are not running the UOR package then?

That is most likely your problem.

There was packet changes in the current UO classic client. We do not use a 7.x.x client here, we use client 5.0.8.3 -- the Mondain's Legacy client. The disconnects you are experiencing are due to the differences in how the current classic client handles packet transmissions vs the old client, and there is no solving for that.

Please install the UOR package from the main site -- it includes everything you need, and will not interfere with other shard configurations. This will make the problems go away.

As far as the XP compatibility mode -- this is a built in feature of Windows 7. If you have Windows 7 of any flavor installed, you have XP Compatibility mode.

"Windows xp mode" is a Virtual Machine XP for Windows 7 Prof. i think. A VM in a VM sound interessting :D
What other posters mean is "Windows xp compatibility mode" you find on "right click" on razor -> properties -> compatibility
However installing the special uor client is a must have.

Just to clarify, you are not expected to create a Windows XP virtual machine using the full fledged copy of Windows XP that is installable within Windows 7. You are only configuring the application to run in 'Windows XP Compatibility mode" -- which allows for much of the same functionality, without having to create a secondary virtual machine within your existing virtual machine.

Also, of note -- we have some custom content here -- mostly housing models. If you are using any client other than ours, you will not see the custom images in game, they will simply be invisible.
