Is that accurate? From ~20 leprechauns I've gotten 2 shamrocks and 0 pieces of clothing. That is very unexpected considering the loot odds.

Ok, so the orcs attack 100% of the time, but I only get the "you anger your god..." message when they turn a gray color after doing so.
Also, I got the "You anger your god with your insolent attack on his minions" randomly just now, without HP loss.
