I imagine that is part of the review and revision process for making provoking onto players actually work. Proper criminal flagging for negative actions against innocent players or their tames should be included. I would assume this would be negated when doing so to guildmates though and honestly I think it should even extend to the Party system if at all possible.
Shouldn't all criminal acts then be allowed to be performed on a party member without repercussion? Either way, would it then be considered "discouraging gameplay" to kill your party members knowing they can't give you a murder count (from either a provocation, or if the concept is extended to all actions)
Same can be said for guildmates. Not sure that really falls under the 'discouraging gameplay' blanket, considering betrayal is a normal part of the game. If you were say, inviting newbies to parties under the guise of help/assistance, then murdering them with impunity, I could see that warranting some staff attention. I wouldn't mind seeing it as an option, like allowing your party to loot you in the event of death. Maybe when you join a party, you can get two options to toggle, criminal flagging and corpse looting.
Apologies, but I have another question about courtyard security. Currently, if someone has a character(who is not friended to the home) logged out in a courtyard, they will not be booted upon logging in, they remain in the courtyard despite not being friended. When the patch goes live, if a character has logged out in a courtyard, and the owner of the home places a moat, what will happen to the character upon logging into the area which is now a moat? Will they be booted outside? Will they be stuck in their location? Will they be able to freely move around and possibly gain entry to the home if the doors are unlocked? What would happen if the character logged out in front of the doors where a bridge would be placed, and logs back in after the bridge has in fact been placed? Will they be moved up the Z axis onto the bridge? Will they be stuck and unable to move? Will they be booted outside? Thanks again.
The halloween event is being re-written a bit to accommodate our much larger playerbase. Exactly what this will entail is still on the drawing board, but that is the plan.
So that's a "no" on provo on players. :/ PS: Guild stone revamp was slated for around patch 58, can we move that ahead of the Level 7 dungeons. One of these things was discussed in Beta......
Hello. Are these still in progress, instead of being suspended? I'm a new in this shard and I'm just wonder the progresses about the Parry and BOD systems for carpentry/tinkering/fletching, especially.
The list is kind of out date, as new things tend to get worked on and old things get completed. Right now, the biggest upcoming changes appear to be the inclusion of Moats and the Clean Up Britannia program (it seems like these will be soonish). As for BoDs, again as far as I know, they have not been suspended or anything, but they are a bit further off still. Not 100% sure what is going to be done with parrying though.
Not going to lie, got bored and not playing much now. Will possibly come back when the patch is released.
