Is there a roleplay community here?

hey all. Just joined. How's the roleplay community here? Is there a list of rp guilds? What about politics? Do guilds (unofficially) claim cities or territories etc?

Id totally join an Undead type guild if there was one. Being a part of a bunch of mages running around in bone armor and claiming souls for The Guardian was fun!!

Fishing is popular here, it's more than just catching fish. I had to be away for awhile. So not sure if there is a Pirate Group or Guild. One would fit into UO history, Buc's Den. Role playing is done through text ( in some cases dress) and weapon style. Enjoy.

There are a few town based guilds i think. We have the Cove Militia that might make some rounds this halloween in the event. We had some good numbers until the orc guild left and we had no one to fight. At the very least, I'm planning on making a guild community for the city of Cove. It will incorporate the Cove Militia and probably have some RP positions like tavernkeeper and such. There might be a Vesper guild but not sure who runs it. Stormhold is a good aligned knight guild that is RP style.

I've been talking to some of the brigand guild members about getting it started again, we had a lot of people maybe a year ago when @Bayara was active. A lot of us are still around, and it was a lot of fun rampaging through dungeons and roads being drunken trigger happy buffoons and terrorizing the suburbs of Skara Brae which is populated by the Project Sancturary guild lol.


There is some talk of an undead guild, which would be pretty neat I think. It just requires someone to take the initiative to design and run the guild.

Yep, Paddy is right. Cove Militia was just getting started and we had an awesome town invasion by the Orcs in Cove, but then they kinda fell apart and that left us in limbo. Then the normal summer slow down also hit us. But with Halloween kicking off UO:R's amazing holiday season, things are looking to pickup.

What the server really needs is an evil aligned RP guild to fight guild's like S and CM.

Project Sanctuary (P'S) did some pretty amazing RP stuff for a while. We haven't been able to manage anything recently but other guilds do have stuff happening.

Don't listen to @Hadrian, he's kind of a debbie downer on the forums... Yes UO:R has a history of RP, but have not had much active RPing lately. This is basically what we've been saying.

There is a fair chance that you'll be seeing a few Bludchok'hai back soon. Not with our old numbers, but maybe a couple of us to start with.

The RP scene was big like a year ago (search the Virtue Wars on these forums) but it always seems to revolve around a couple of people and when they go inactive so does everyone else.
