Any advice on how to get rid of flickering while playing UO? I run win 8.1 and often while switching from things like skype and IRC UO will also freeze with a faded white screen for a few seconds.
mine does this too, not so much when I swap screens, it just randomly flicks like Haze is talking about

I have read that post and have all of the proper things I need checked off, yet this problem still exists.
Try disabling desktop composition and visual themes -- thats the only setting that I personally recommend, but is not laid out in that thread. Same tab on the properties sheet. Also, make sure you don't have Smart CPU enabled.
Desktop composition is what specifically causes that flickering for me. I've also noticed that it's NOT possible to run UO full screen w/Razor and not have it flicker like that. I've done everything possible, and you can't. It always flickers full screen with razor on.
