Hey hey! Short notice, but I will be having an open house On Saturday October 25th and potentially Sunday the 26th from 9AM to 11AM EST at my Tower to test out a BagBall field. This is to iron out the rules for an upcoming tourney. I am not usually on IRC but I will hang out there for a couple of hours and check the forums in case you want to get in touch with me and come check out the field. Please let me know if you want access to the field at other times and I will do my best to figure it out. Sunday is tentative. If I get a good turn out and am able to figure things out Saturday, I may cancel Sunday. So if you want to go Sunday morning please specify here or in a private message and I will make arrangements. Ya I know Oni. I am trying to fit too many things into my schedule and unfortunately not pulling it all off. I should have had more advanced notice. But thanks for the help Otterslide and Freakzilla. I am pretty sure I have the rules down. This is gonna be better than the original Bagball. Original Bagball didn't have fights. My version will have fights! Freakzilla and I are also putting our creative juices to use and are discussing and RP friendly gambling house on Fire Isle. A place for the Pirates to break bottles over each other's heads. EDIT: You should also take into consideration that people are much more likely to spend their time doing something that is tested by others than to be the ones testing it
We dissected one of those in high school I believe. I wouldn't want to be a guinea pig... I just had a very very constructive talk with El Horno about the upcoming event. It will be on the 8th of November and I have decided to scratch the fighting idea. It complicates things without adding real excitement and value to the game. Nobody wants to watch two guys wrestle each other to death while a bag ball game is going on. The game might end while they are still beating each other...
