Should you be able to provoke animals and monsters to attack other players?

If provocation onto players is added. Please add the ability to use disco on players too.

Nearly everyone is on board and from what I recall, Telamon has said that he intends to enable it when he's got it dialed in properly for the standards of perfection he's going for.

Looking forward to having this ability, it'll be nice to have some more defense. Hope this happens in the near future!

I think there should be zero skill check and it shouldn't raise skill. Warriors can band together and take down harder monsters easier by having one individual control the agro.

I'm really surprised this isn't a thing yet.

I'm late to the party, but are there any projected dates for this to happen? Next patch?

This issue goes back to November of 2012! Wow!

I'm surprised by this statement from Chris:

"Regarding the aspect of provocation when targeting NPC's and players we have discussed this and it will most likely be changed. We are still researching when/why it was changed to not allow the targeting and if there was a reason for the change. (RunUO/OSI)
Common sense would indicate that to provoke a monster onto a player (and possibly a npc) only a check of your skills vs the single monster, vs the usual combined check of both targets would be needed in this case."

Most active players would have known that this was possible at the time of the release of Renaissance. Maybe I'm just inflating the "researching" comment. No research necessary! From what I can remember, Provocation would always check the monster's barding difficulty when targeting a player/NPC.
