1/5 chance for one of the two new scrolls on top of that just to get a chance to do the new instances. Some people did over 70 scrolls already and only got 10 of the newer scrolls from them.

Not even gonna bother reading what you posted cause previous years are IRRELEVANT . Passed years did not give you a chance for new scroll instance drops.

They might have gold still but it is just like real life. You gonna tap into your emergency house money to go out drinking if you're broke? No your not .

One, you are wrong.

The new 1/5 chance for the new scrolls alone is +300k in value per normal xmas scroll as of now (the new scrolls are selling for 1.5mil+). Even if the scrolls for the new xmas instances drop to a value of say 500k (this will NEVER happen), it's still +100k per normal xmas scroll. This +100k per normal xmas scroll would roughly mean todays prices.

The truth is, the normal xmas scrolls are extremely under valued. Just look at the stuff these mobs are dropping. You have good chances for another normal xmas scroll and chances for uberrares that will fetch 10mil+ easily.

And I never understood, why the 1%er vets are treated like gods by some people. Everybody runs out of gold eventually. Once you look at the high-value deals and talk with people, you realize that most of the time not a dozen checks are handed out. I know of at least 5 vets that have gone dry in plat and gold during xmas. There is also a reason why from time to time people like LesClaypool have to sell their rares... think about it.

If you guys want some real economic advice, farm gold as much as you can and buy up all the hcoins that you can for 4-5k per coin.

Everyone here is wrong and I am right (duhh). The only way to know how much a scroll is worth, is by letting the market decide. Just because you think it adds 300k+ or that they should all be 500/550 means nothing. If you don't have a buyer, then its a mute point. So, I DO BELIEVE that scrolls are worth every penny of 500/550, so if that's what you want, then be prepared to be patient and wait until some of the scroll hoarders get low on inventory and start looking for more.

Historically, this new generation of people on UOR and around the world have ZERO patience and will always lose money by selling as fast as they can for a discounted price just to fund their regs and houses. Veterans know this, so we sit around and wait for you to lower your prices 25% within 3 days of having no bites on an auction. I have enough scrolls to last me a few months of part-time playing. Some people I know have 50+ even 100+ scrolls so it will be a while before we NEEED more and are willing to spend 500k+ for another scroll that produces 55-70 hc's per run.

That's just my 2cents. Be patient, go farm some gold the old way. Scrolls are a long term investment (3-9months), so HOLD!
