4x4=16.....and 4.4.2016 = FREESIST!!!!

Come one, come all to the (in)famous Renaissance Freesist, magic resist training session. This session is free to all participants. One simply need bring themselves to the host location (TBD) by the date specified or after, until supplies run out.

How does this work, you ask?

Well it's simple. Meteor Swarm can't kill you in a house but you can gain Magic Resist from getting hit by it. We'll be casting with multiple casters on a specific area in the house. Just stand there and watch your skill gain (but not really, go outside and do something with your life, while your resist trains for free).

YOU MUST BE A GHOST TO ENTER THE HOUSE. WAIT PATIENTLY FOR A RESURRECTION IN THE AREA WITH THE BENCHES. IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING YOUR RES, YOU ARE LIKELY TO BE BOOTED.


The image below should be enough to get you to your location. Don't bank on event gates, consider it an adventure.


Bandages will be provided as much as possible as well as fishsteaks if I feel like setting that macro up.

What do you need for donations?

Well, you know me, don't really need anything. We'll be using Meteor Swarm reagents, bandages and cooked fishsteaks. I'm probably lowest on bandages personally but whatever helps, helps and it's less I have to source.

Ok. I'll see if I can't round up a bunch of cloth while I'm at work over the next few days/weeks.

As posted earlier there is a stack of cotton on the steps of the Villa by the SW Cotton Pen, if you guys will add to it throughout the days leading up to the event, I will give Blaise everything we collect for the event! This is a good way for new players who are gold poor to help out and contribute to one of the most helpful player run events we have here!

Nice, I locked down a stack of bandage stacks that I can just drag/drop to. If we load them to capacity, it would be 480,000 bandages, that can't be stolen.

I will be available here and there over the course of the weekend, for any supporting contributions to the event.

Very much appreciate all the resist gains Blaise and company. I brought 3 characters in last night as it started and they had around 60 resist each. They're nearing GM now.

I think the only thing I would suggest next time is more characters casting meteor swarm. It worked so well, "more of the same" is the only thing that I can suggest I saw many players were also utilizing the massive stacks of bandages so that this also became a "free healing skill" gain event. Saved me a ton of gold that I don't have in boosting resist.

I'm putting the good word out about this server and trying to bring in more people to liven things up more. Events like this really cut down on new player pain. Many people that're most likely to join this server have never played UO and they'll need all the help they get in whatever they end up doing. Magic resist, as most of us know, pretty important to survival

My chars are at 95ish now, soooo sweettttt.
