Just a different aspect of the game. Agurably, yes... Poison lock is completely useless on the UOR field, but overall 5x pretty much has the highest skill cap of all the forms of dueling and it pretty much crosses out a lot of random variables that can happen on 7x Templates. Simply saying that "its useless on the field" doesnt mean its not entertaining, or rewarding to learn. Just my two cents, Peace
Because explo explo pot ebolting doesn't get old after youve been doing it for 15 years your right. *cough* I can tell you have not played on PvP rich servers from that comment lol The 3 most populated servers of this era I have ever played on 5x was the norm. No pots, and learn how to time your spells, combo, poison lock, and wrestle. Not the same ol fucking combo 100x over then repeat

Although you cannot poison lock in the field, honing your skill in 5x makes a pretty significant difference in learning how to time punches, interrupts, etc. All viable transitions in the field when used in proper situations. It also allows you to learn to slow things down and see things differently while in the middle of a fight. Before I came to this server I never 5x'd, strictly field 7x. I decided to teach myself, and it made a noticeable difference, imo, to my overall game play.
Night and day difference between people who know 5x and people who don't. I feel like 90% of people who don't 5x die on the first dump regardless if it's 5 or 7. The other 10% just simply chug a lot to survive
