Uhhhh maybe this has been discussed, but what about a plat atm? Higher interest value i.e. 12k-15k per plat? or is this something that exists already? Idk i don't dive into plat stuff to often but it's another gold sinking solution.
Gold still exists though, it just gets passed around. Doesn't leave the economy completely like plat. At a certain point the inflation can get too high.
On a side note: Anyone out there got assets they need "laundered" just let me know... I can assuredly make them "disappear".
No no, i mean literally a stone that withdraw "x" gold and deposits "x" plat in bank. Currency exchange at a higher rate than players thus keeping people more competitive with plat pricing and dumping gold in the event players can't find it.
ohhhhhhhh. I like that honestly, and it could be adjusted as the amount of gold fluctuates. Telamon can track all the economic statistics etc. Maybe total gold / active players etc.
Couldn't we just have the pouch work with a cooldown of say 1 use per 60seconds? The pouch is only able to be used as a trapped pouch (can't put things in it and it can't be stolen). This way if people really want to gold sink into it hard enough to have 20 of these pouches.. they would be able to use them once each per 60secs.
Allow players to trap their backpacks for 8 million platinum, so they can just make a simple macro like I have on my bard. Exec: Use Once Agent CastSpell Magic Trap Wait for Target Absolute Target (my pouch) Exec: Add to UseOnce Exec: Last Target Set to hotkey and it will pop and retrap the same pouch over and over. This keeps a bit of risk integrated because I can't just hammer 10 pouches with 0 delay (lame).
