You are absolutely correct. Early on the team fights, guild vs guild or blue vs red, were epic. There were also places you just couldn't go solo. You had to have healers in team fights as well. It takes skill to provoke and is still dangerous. Taming is a whole different thing. It can be fun, but it is so vastly over powered, not to mention you can have multiple pets in action at once. It is what it is I suppose.
