i want to be able to to explore with my animal which means dying a lot. I don’t mind. This what makes the game fun, even when red people come. But dying means pet lose resist. What is best way to regain resist quickly? I cast meteors on them in my tower while I on 2nd floor but it seems slow. Is this best method?
Hi Mike, this is the best way to do pet resist, other than fighting magical mobs take the pet to lichs, daemons or gazers or something like that. get that coin and resist gains!
I think there are guides for this. It involves having pets cast on each other until their mana is low, then blocking their line of sight until its back up high. That way you train two pets at a time, and by breaking line of sight until they regen mana you ensure high circle spells. Also trains the Magery of the pet. Beyond that, you could cast meteor yourself... I think some guilds run guild only resist training for pets. They are rarely (if ever?) public as pets can die if you're not too careful.
The more mages you have casting MS, the quicker the gains are. Should discord the pets as well, drops their stats/skill by 20% allowing for quicker gains.
I cost me about 60k to GM resist on 6 dragons using the disco meteor method with 3 mages. Just remember to keep them well fed. Even managed to do it in a villa!
might be worth training another 2 mages, instead of res / firestrike just use meteor... gain for mage and gain for resist
