I have never came across such a weird mindset. I am baffled.

    You're welcome. <3

I have raised a bard in the past, playing the game, not stuck in 'the trance' of being afk, which these houses fully promote.

I was a victim and while I really didn't care too much about dying, resetting my char and having to go somewhere else (just threw up a pop up provo house near Honor shrine) I just think it's in bad form to use young status like that.

The houses promote skill gain- the server promotes afk players with it's slow skill gain and welfare. The houses provide a means so players can get to the skill level they desire and to start playing their characters. Without them, I doubt as many players would stick around if they had to spend the large amount of time needed to raise those skills if they had to go about it the natural way. Not a lot of people are gonna last if they have to provocate and kill thousands of the same low level monsters to move onto the next, still low level monster.

Anyway, continue the "new player experience"

Most dearest Hadrian, thanks for reminding people that...

PS: It's still a lame move imho to use the young status' protection. Anyway, it's your choice how to play. But sure, in principle you can do what you want.

The first bard felled had returned before I fetched the hell hound.. he could have protected his brethren of the musical arts, he could have reset the pirate trap.. but as most in the community, he took his easy gains and went on his merry way. Yes my friends, this is felluca.

So you're accusing this bard of being a dick for not bothering to protect afk players from your dick move? This is your method of encouraging cooperative play or what? Just not seeing your ultimate goal with these antics boo.

The first bard to go down was me. I was juggling getting ready for work while trying to set up a provo house after that happened. Didn't have time to wait for you and your shenanigans to leave to lure more pirates over for the bard trainees.

Felluca is great, but you weren't playing felluca. I think people forget that it should work both ways. Using "Young" status as you did is more trammel than Gideon's UOR wardrobe closet.

For example, I disagree that people casting gates from their house to essentially gate trap and kill anyone coming through should be against any type of rule which it has been enforced in the past. If someone is jumping through someone else's gate, it should be common sense that that person is taking a chance and there just may be some repercussions. Someone had been doing it to my buddies vendor house early this year to his patrons and instead of crying about it, we made that guys life hell for the next week at his yew cabin. We were able to retaliate.

There's no way to retaliate against your young status though and you know that which makes the tactic really lame. If someone without young status was doing it, something could have been done to even the score or make a fun story about it like some good ole fashion Benny the Hill type chase. I'm not mad that I died. I've raised enough tamers and bards to not care about deaths while afk macroing as that is a risk here.

I have placed the much lute from my bard hunting into your storage boxes located at the house of provocation to make sure the operation is an ongoing success.

You might think Hadrian is off his rocker, but he's a genius. This is uo performance art at its finest!

Even if bards are grand masters of their skill, they cannot provoke monsters onto you!

Hadrian, can you please create your own thread in forums for boasting or pics? This isn't the right place for expressing your “victories“.
