Lol think what ya want man i aint mad at labeler, smart on his part. I personally would have waited to sell. Just my opinion. Funny part is, cub ain't even out yet. Guess it'll go up another 10 mil when copper system comes out to.
Supply and demand. Keeps were 8mil not too long ago but people now willing to pay 12. Some players are sandal crazy and will pay crazy amounts imo. The value is what someone will pay for it. Anni sandels for 20mil is insane to me but not someone else. 20mil for a fort in nice location is reasonable but not to you. And rarity is only 1 factor I have a server birth that prolly would fetch 5mil at tops. Think the other one sold for 3-4mil in last yr
Have seen how a month can make a big difference in this game. Sometimes the sellers need for gold changes, price drops or raises on things so can't see why anyone is hating on a person for pulling them off the market or asking for more in a pm. Having said that I guess I should check if I pulled any none sold things off the market because I am just going to keep it for now.
So I wasn't planning to weigh in here - I hate drama it makes me itch. But since I just got called out I'll give my two cents. I wound up buying the property from Labeler for a negotiated price. The property was exactly what I wanted and I'm happy with the purchase so I'm not personally bent out of shape about the result. It is not as if he didn't know there was a lot of ongoing interest; by his own admission there were multiple people pinging him about it including @Boreder who had nothing to do with my deal at all. As such, I reject the argument that it was an old auction dredged up apropos of nothing. If he was unwilling to accept a SB he should have changed the post or taken it down earlier. I was not exactly thrilled about the pulled listing after my SB; my personal view is that if you set a SB you should stick to it. That said, Labeler's original post basically said he was not going to necessiary honour a traditional auction process and it was always up to me whether or not to engage with him on that basis or not. So at the end of the day while I don't like his business practice (if it wasn't such a unique item I would not have engaged in this type of deal at all), he was straight-up about how he was running the sale from day 1 so he certainly didn't do anything dishonest. Labeler's gotta wear this one. If you don't want drama then stick to a proper auction or say 'entertaining offers' but don't post a SB you won't accept. This will be my only comment on the matter. I will not be replying to anything further.
To be fair, I only pinged him about the second property after I saw you post about the first (since we've always conducted business in a friendly and quick manner, so having you as a neighbor wouldn't be a negative), and after I spoke to a few mutual friends to judge if my offer was going to be taken seriously (which I feel it was, it was just a bit below what he was wanting).
