Here's a few things to check if you're randomly losing connection overnight and can't seem to figure out why. Others feel free to chime in and add to this. Make sure the server wasn't restarted for a patch or other reason first. Ask players in IRC first. If you can't seem to get a good answer, then ask a Staff member and they'll respond as they have time. Check your Internet Service Provider. Do ping tests to the server and see if you've got any packet loss. Start --> Programs & Files --> Accessories --> Command Prompt Type in: ping -s 4 login.uorenaissance.com Check to make sure your computer is not going into sleep mode. Go to Control Panel --> Hardware and Sound --> Power Options --> Edit Plan Settings Choose the "Never" setting. Check that your Network Adapter isn't being turned off to save power. Go to Control Panel System and Security System Device Manager Network Adapters Right Click on your Network Adapter and go to "Properties" Go to the last tab labeled "Power Management" Make sure the check box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is NOT checked. Unfortunately, there is approximately a million other things that could cause you to lose connection, including (but not limited to) mice in the walls. Here, though, are a few of the more common issues to try to tackle first before you tear out your walls looking for rodents. -L/S
