Is there a time to wait in between attempts thats better for gains? im doing this without macros bc i dont understand how to do it in razor, and im at 7k ingots already and only at 67.5 am i not waiting long enough between or is that a normal variant? I understand everyone wont gain the same just want to make sure im not wasting ingots by going to quick. Thanks

@Willy hope I am not too late.

    mac location is:
    /Applications/UO\ Renaissance.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/users/Wineskin/Application\ Data/Razor

    windows:
    C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\Razor\Macros

appdata is hidden by default, you can however just type it into the address bar and when you are here, there are .macro items, open these with notepad and paste in your text (need to make a new macro in Razor before it shows in the folder)

Hey question, as I work on Blacksmithing... what's the minimum amount of Mining do I need to smelt these items?

So correct me if I am wrong, but I think what you are saying, @Mexplosivo , is that the chance to smelt an item is the same as to smelt ore?

If so, do I need Blacksmithing skill to smelt items? I ask because I only have Mining on my battle miner. Can he, without any BS, smelt weapons and armor I make on my crafter?

I have a blacksmith on a crafter and she smelts all iron with no problem, get back half the ingots just like my miner blacksmith. Anything over iron I use my smith/miner to save time with since colors you do need mining to that color to smelt.

In you can smelt the items back down with the miner for your blacksmith, I have done it takes no Blacksmith to smelt. Just smelted a pair of val ringmail leggings and got 8 val back.

Yes, becase that's exactly what i do with my battle miner who has 0.0 blacksmithing. My GM blacksmith does't have mining

Ok wait. So I can smelt all weapons and armor made by my Blacksmith crafter as I level it up without any Mining as long as it is made with Iron. But any colored ore items do need mining.

Yes my first blacksmith was on my crafter who I never put mining on and she smelted everything made out of iron down, when it comes to even smelting dull copper she can't do it. So my main bod maker has mining and blacksmith so I don't have to switch over overtime.

Did this too. About 35-40K ingots. I lost track.

    50-70 kryss
    70-86 short spear
    86-95 gorget
    95-100 gloves

I ended up switching to gloves because I read someone else post about getting stalled at gorget, so I didn't want to bother risking it.

I added to the script to make it almost hands free.
Changes I made include the restock when your tongs break. Eat fish to keep you full. Instead of using a separate macro for each item I changed it so it uses the make last button so when switching items all you have to do is stop the macro and make the new item once and change the smelt target to new item. Enjoy ;)

    Restock Agent 2= Ingots
    Restock Agent 3=Tongs
