    But tbh, making mining a necessity for shovels won't change anything in the overall situation mentioned earlier. Logicwise it makes total sense, but most power-miners have anyway mining on their battle miner for using garg pickaxes while supporting with one or two additional fighting toons.

    Agreed, I have always used my macer miner supported by others. But its the principle of the matter. :) I am all about principles, and my principle is making GOLD... don't need no tamers out there mining :)
