They are still deed-able, just in a limited time frame. Each time a craftable add-on is placed, you have 24 hours to decide if you want to move it. If you move the item to a new location (chop + replace) you will have another 24 hours to decide if you like it in that spot.
just a silly question here... but what happens if you place something, an anvil for example, and the 24 hour timer starts, then you chop it and place it back in the same spot... does the timer still restart, or does it actually have to be replaced in a different location? Basically, I am just wondering if a bored version of myself would be able to simply chop an item and replace it in the same spot every 23 hours and 59 minutes... Just curious... Thanks, -fren
Should you so desire you could do that for as long as you like. We just wanted to find a happy medium on the issue and avoid a situation where items exist forever.
thanks Chris for the clarification on the 24 hour deal. I misunderstood it. This will also be nice if you move from one home to another. thanks for all the hard work guys. " so excited about the new house placement."
If I am online before the time housing placement opens up, will I have to log off and on for it to work? Or am I able to just stay online?
There will be several worldwide broadcasts, then placement will be enabled everywhere. There will be no need to restart the server to begin the event. If anyone remembers the OSI opening of trammel, its a lot like that.
I like this in case you place in wrong spot but also opens market for crafters to continue gold making.
Boy i got so angry when i saw noone, had my home ready to fit and then out of nowhere there pops a small placeholder house in front of me...hope the person uses this house and has not just placed it for value increase!
