I think my latest keep is my most functional house yet!! Loving it.

What's everyone else working with these days?

The first room from the CY is just your basic loot dump.

I've got the main downstairs setup as my safe room / gate area... Stools setup to get in from the CY, but not back out, and out to the front door, but not back in. Nice open space perfect for handling dragons in. (This was a major gripe with my last setup, the rune library area was too confined, sometime I couldn't even hit my books with drags in the room).

Separate rooms for running mining/smith bods and cloth processing/tailor bods, and my "study". The main room upstairs houses all of my weapon / armor storage with a box in the sw corner for all of my regs/potions, and wands in the SE corner.

I've got my best slayers on display to the west, AMIB chest storage, The trophy rack is designed to work on 2 levels... guess I'll have to start partaking in some fight nights or something .

Chests raised above the steps I use for dumping bod, and one for recall scrolls/house key... My BOD collectors live on my doorstep, easy mode. (Thanks CaptainMorgan)

I'm all about form following function, but I want it to be easy on the eyes too. Plan on purchasing some plat carpets for both upstairs and downstairs when I'm not poor.

Makes me miss my Keep...

@Wulver Swoop another one up before the moat patch.

People who are waiting until AFTER the moat patch to purchase (or sell) properties with CYs are almost certainly doing it wrong. IMHO.

ignore muh amazing paint skills. sorry you're now blind. and there's no organization, i just stitched together like 117 screen shots and since Mindless resurrected a dead thread, this is where it gets posted. the first floor fortress has the stuff. if you're somewhere else you're in the gate room. i have grand plans though, worry not. if only i weren't a tile away from being able swap the keep location with it's first tower i'd be able to bridge the whole complex together. woe is me.

Edit: if you're computer literate and have the tools to make a legitimate image out of this cluster, let me know, i'd gladly pay a fee, it's nothing special but it's my nothing special, and i'd like to have a decent representation.
