Known Housing Issues Currently Being Fixed

    This list will serve as a summary for the variety of housing bugs and issues that are being worked on by the staff. We hope to have most if not all of these resolved in patch 26.

    ~~~ House Keys ~~~
    • Issue: Currently when a house is placing you are given a key for each interior door. However when transferring or changing the locks in a house you are only given a master key which works on all of the doors in the house.
    • Solution: The master keys for houses will be given a proper identifier to indicate that they are the master key for the house. Once this is done house owners will be able to use the master key on any interior door in order to generate a new key.

    ~~~ Large Brick House ~~~ (Resolved on 11/29/12)
    • Issue: Currently large brick houses have 1 secure container, instead of the correct 4
    • Solution: This will be resolved in the next patch.

    ~~~Bulk Order Books / Lockdown Use ~~~ (Resolved in Patch 33)
    • Issue: Currently when locking down a Bulk Order Book it will use an amount of lockdowns equal to the amount of BOD's in the book.
      Solution: We are reviewing the best way to fix this, and if reducing the lockdown requirement for the book would have an adverse affect on the item within the book. It is possible that we will make these items unable to be locked down to resolve the problem while we verify that we can create a proper fix allowing the books to take up 1 lockdown.

    ~~~ Tower Wings ~~~ (Resolved in Patch 31)
    • Issue: Tower wings are not being calculated properly when placing a tower or house near a tower wing.
    • Solution: The proper Renaissance era mechanics will be applied to the tower wings. This could be in patch 26 or 27 depending on the complexity of the fix and allowing enough time for proper testing

    ~~~ Log Cabin ~~~ (Resolved on 11/29/12)
    • Issue: The 2nd floor door is lockable on the wrong side.
    • Solution: This will be fixed in patch 26. However if your house is already placed, simply page(or pm) a gm to get this fixed.
    Staff Note: This door needs to be changed from WestCW to EastCW

    ~~~ Fortress ~~~ (Resolved on 11/29/12)
    • Issue: The 2 Hallway Doors are lockable on the wrong side. The set of entryway courtyward doors are opening the wrong way also.
    • Solution: This will be fixed in patch 26. However if your house is already placed, simply page(or pm) a gm to get this fixed.
    Staff Note: The Hallyway doors needs to be changed from WestCW to WestCCW
    The South Courtyard door (left) needs to be changed from WestCW to EastCW
    The South Courtyard door (left) needs to be changed from EastCCW to WestCCW
    The South Small Rooms need to be changed from SouthCW to SouthCCW

    Yup, yup... also fix fortress hall doors, you can only get in from the main room so the locked side is wrong.
