Best Vendor Spot - Ocllo Bank - Captive Young audience who don't know any better on prices

Best Bank Houses - Yew Row - Large spots that you can bank from within

Best Mining Houses - right outside any golem cave. - Due to the mining "perfection" here You can set up a archer turret and make bank all day long relatively safely. You can also mine elementals from your roof, they pop by the sign and walk right indoors.

Best Secluded spots - Hidden Valley, Wind Valley, North Minoc Valley (kinda) and of course Justice Isle.


So either you got here early in the shard's history and placed here, Saved your gold and pixels and bought in or went into UOR Witness Protection and changed your name ingame and on the forums and are trying to live out your life in peace in one of these spots....

Well, out of curiosity, has the landscape always been different? This may have something to do with the inability to experiment with placement on test. I am no house placing expert, I have no in-depth knowledge of what does and does not block placement. I also thought that all of the static plant life was the same across shards. I've never really paid attention to it.

Someone would need to check whether the plants are still there on live shard or not. Regina (the original poster) perhaps just modded his/her client to erase any non-blocking flora.

Oh the suspense, I cant wait to hear the tale of the tower's mystical creation.

Literally just went there this morning in hopes of finding a spot was hoping on that type of island even a 7x7 would be preme...& there it was, in all its glory. That house is def on my UO bucket list now.

But I don't see why people care that much. It's housing, not a wep with 45+ tactics. It changes nothing...& now if owner ever sells someone has a chance to own this beauty. Either way it's pixel porn.

I started having a seizure from all the excitement when I saw the tower.

It's not whether or not it affects peoples' playstyles. The problem would come if Staff helped someone place a house that can't be placed otherwise. If it happened like that, the question becomes whether or not this is a service available to everyone, or just a select few. Obviously, if illegal house placement assistance is only available to certain players, that becomes an issue.

And that would also create a problem. Having a tower there that can't be replaced if it falls bumps the price of the property up A LOT. If staff helped place a tower there that couldn't be placed without their assistance, then the staff basically just GAVE the seller free gold.

So can a GM place over a tree because there's an island I'd like my house on but there's a tree there. However if @Chris is kind enough to just place it for me, then that would be super nice!!!
