Paying 5k for dark wolf 10k for golden dragon 5k for crimson drake 5k for savage ossie 2k for wild boar 1k for artic/frost animals 10k for raging grizz Get me in IRC
Fyi those prices are no where near what some go for dark wolf ragging grizzlies savage start at 250k a piece. Gl
The only reason the prices are high is cause someone, at some point, asked for it, and someone else said "ok". When the taming quest was first released, you could get just about any animal on the scroll for 50k or less. My 5th scroll was filled by buying the animals for 15k-20k each (even the grizz and dark wolf) And funny thing... back then, we had no idea how these spawned, where they spawned, how to get them to spawn, or the zoo trick. We just ran around all over the map looking for them, some with tracking, some without, and got lucky. Now, several years later, there are rune books everywhere that take you to the best place to farm them, and guides that tell you exactly what to kill to get what, and where to tame it, etc. If the consumer stops paying 200k+ for these animals, then people will stop charging 200k+ for them. An item is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Stop over paying to greedy folks.
I mean... how hard is it to get a dark wolf? Easy Sit one character at the zoo killing the dark wolf if it spawns there Send another character with tracking/taming/magery to the shame entrance area and kill all the dire wolves. It will spawn there. Raging Grizzly Bear? Easy Sit one character at the zoo and kill the raging grizz if it spawns there Send another character with tracking/taming/magery to run around moonglow island and kill all the grizzly bears It will spawn on the island Anything...and I mean anything... will spawn faster in the area the mobs like it spawn if you are killing it off in the zoo too. Telemon confirmed this in like 2014
Up to the seller to decide whether or not to sell you at that price. If it's so easy, why not tame yourself? I'd rather spend 10 minutes killing arctic ogres than finding a grizzly for 10k though...
I can't tell if you're trolling or not. Just in case you're not, as between your choice of parking two characters all day in the hope of getting one dark wolf that I can sell to you for 5k, or going and hunting balrons for 7 minutes.. I think I'll go with the balron / 7 minute option. Also, while I usually would not do this in someone else's thread, I think it is worth giving a warning to new players that may inadvertently sell an animal at these prices. So: NEW PLAYERS, BE AWARE THAT OTHERS WILL LIKELY PAY 10 TO 20 TIMES MORE FOR THESE ANIMALS.
THIS, don't get conned by greedy member everyone. I will personally pay 15x more what OP is offering just to remove any doubt about the value of these precious zookeeper animals (and i would still underpay...)
Just busting your balls a little man. If your new just do a quick search on the forums before you get your pricing. I have made the mistake before also of thinking things were different values. If your not new. Good luck but I doubt anyone is selling you anything haha
I can’t tell if you’re trying to take advantage of new players or simply lack the understanding of a free market, but your comment is antecdotal at best. The beauty of a free market is that it’s a self-policing mechanism. Sure, milk and gas used to cost a quarter, but you’re still smashing cereal and driving to work today. The bond slot business is a very real revenue stream for many folks on this server and I guarantee all of them will happily continue paying market value for any of the animals on your list.
Lets see I came to the server from UOSA during its beta testing. I didnt care for it at first, didn't know Chris, didn't like Derrick, so I went back and forth between the 2 servers for the first few months. I played for a bit, and then in July of 2013 finally registered on the forum I played until late 2014, and then went to UOF for a while came back and forth during 2015... but then pretty much gave all my stuff away to the group i was running with at the time. about 10 days ago (maybe 11) I came back so i wouldnt call me "new" but wouldnt say im experienced with how things currently are. but value of any object is made by the consumer as long as folks are paying 10x more than me, the value will hold once you all have pretty much maxed what you want... my value will hold time always wins out
