Timelord I do hope you find your Fortress. It would be an interesting project if you were to survey the lands, and point out some completely empty fortresses, then perhaps our local detectives could sleuth out the owners and provide matchmaking. Though cataloging our empty real estate opportunities might cause a little drama and make people feel "called out", it would be interesting data to see just how many of UOR's large properties are out there collecting cobwebs

Well there's a thread you can start before your inevitable ban, an abandoned housing survey. Ask players to post screenshots of the location and any information they may have on the owners. It can't be done as a witch hunt, but just to bring to light how much of it is really out there unused. The owner might get motivated to start using the place (if they're actually playing and not refreshing), they might sell it if someone knows how to find them, or they might just get angry and refresh for another 5 years. Not really sure what the outcome would be.

I did this when I tried to buy a property on the OC Island. It went down like a lead filled balloon and y’all got up my ass like wedgie.

And I also tried this with forts, at the time there may have been 85 forts and I could account for about 20 of them being used by active or even semi active players.

I can actually contribute to this thread though, I don’t play any more and I have a fort, it’s actually an entire triangle compound:

Large Patio at the front
Grandfathered Fort directly behind
2 L Bricks either side of the fort

I would sell them with the entire contents for a good price. The fort has maybe 15 mil of plat reward deco in it, trees and carpet mostly.

I could empty it, but I would genuinely make you pay more if you wanted me to auction off all the stuff inside and clear it out. I’m not being a dick, just honest, I cannot be fucked to auction any of it.

It’s the first fort you get too if you run towards the north minoc mines if you wanted to run around it.

Hey just some advice to hopefully get more interest, you might want to update your original post and just hint at what price range you are willing to play ball at, items you might be looking to trade, hcoin, platinum, etc. You made clear you can't do 30 mil, but what's your budget?

I'd sell you mine if I had one. We are in a deflationary environment. Phaero may be able to buy all his stuff back in 6 months for 1 mil less on each house.
