That's a good option too, unfortunately I have let my inner Trammie run wild buying stuff for my house, and am cash poor. The crisis was averted, I found my way back into COD and retrieved my laggard pet.
Be forewarned, in the moongate room after COD, if you run too quickly to the moongate, you may lose your pet and the retrieve pets command from the NOH Gump won't get them back.
