It only took weeks of grinding, HUNDREDS of maps, but I finally got a lvl 7! It must have been a running joke, lots of people would ask me in passing if I had gotten one yet. (Nemesis)
And i almost lost it as soon as i had it! As soon as I cracked open the chest, and item ID the chest, I saw it said 17 weps, 10 pc of ar, and one treasure map! What a feeling of Jubilation, followed but utter panic and terror as I see a grey thief on foot running away from my precious treasure chest! Luckily, with what can only be explained as divine intervention.... a Balron spawns, and chases down this scallywag!
After being rezed by the wandering healer, and coming back for more, I decided to also kill the healer for good measure.
Did the thief actually get the tmap and lost it vto a big bad balron? What an epic steal this would have been. Congratz, Big!
Lol no the thief looted the 5k gold and the 1 plat, and some regs. I'm sure he or she didn't see the map or would have just taken that and walked away. But I got it all back. That would have been a bad day for me. It would have included some sort of violence and rage quitting!
