ANNOUNCING SURPRISE! SCAVENGER HUNTS - HOSTED BY O^S [ORDER OF THE SKULL] Do you love surprises? Do you love platinum?? Well then this is the event for you! O^S will be hosting impromptu scavenger hunts. Here's how they'll work: Be prepared to travel the world, following clues in order to find Avery in-game. You should have the ability to recall, a mount and access to a rune library. A detailed knowledge of the UO world and a bit of UO lore is a huge help. Simply follow the clues and say Avery's name in-game when you find her to place in each round. Players earn 2 points for 1st place and 1 point for 2nd place in each round. Ties are determined by checking Avery's journal. Each event will have 5 rounds. The first place winner in each game will win 5 platinum coins. The second place winner will win 3 platinum coins. Players will need to be prepared to travel to towns, the over-world and dungeons, including locations in T2A. Members of O^S will be excluded from playing. These events may happen any time, morning, afternoon or night so watch IRC for announcements. Clues will be given in a separate IRC channel: O^Sscavenger To register for these events, you must be in the scavenger IRC channel and post the character name you will be using. Players who fail to take this step will be disqualified. Hope to see you there!!!
Congrats to tonight's winners, Blackeye and Jupiter!! I would like some opinions. Would it be easier for everyone to attend if I scheduled these a few days in advance?
Yeah, I'd love to join a few of these. Maybe you could retain the surprise aspect by giving a broad window in which it may happen.
It would be helpful. I logged on last night as Jupiter was fielding the last clue so it was too late to join. Also, I don't always jump on IRC if I'm planning to do some BOD work or similar chores.
If you want many participants, you may want to choose a time slot after some kind of event, e.g. a CTF. Fun event though and I was lucky to catch up with it.

From what I understand, the eagle trophies were given out for the first hunt. In the future, it will be surfers
O^S will be hosting another mini-scavenger hunt this Thursday 10/8 at 6pm PST/9pm EST. There will be plat and trophies for the top 2 scorers. Hope to see you there!
