Thankfully, UO:Renaissance has a huge amount of helpful documentation, players, and in-game support to help you get started. New to Ultima Online? Start Here! If you are completely new to the game or need a refresher on getting around, training your character, etc., then you will find this guide helpful. The One Guide Once you’re feeling more comfortable, you might want to start making use of The One Guide. The One Guide is essentially a table of contents for all player created guides and shows you how to best train various skills and stats. Compendium and My Renaissance Possibly even more useful will be the UO:R Official Compendium and My Renaissance. The Compendium is a rapidly growing resource of skills, items, monsters, item drops, etc. Almost anything you would want to know about the in game world can be found here. My Renaissance provides even more information about characters, PVP, PVM, etc. Both are available on the left hand bar of the main website or by clicking the image below. UO:R World Map If you scroll down further on the main page, you’ll find the Interactive World Map which shows lots of great stuff – dungeons, shrines, cities, and even player housing. UO:R Forums The Forums are also a great place to ask questions and find information. UO:R IRC And of course, IRC is always active and tons of players / staff are available to answer questions and provide assistance. UO:R Counselor Program Once you are in game you can ask other players for help or you can page a Counselor. The Counselor program aims to welcome and assist new players in finding their way in the world.
. Getting around Sosaria as a new player! Using various modes of transportation, you should be able to get to where you need to go. Here are some pointers! Hoofin' it in Ocllo Ocllo has most everything a player needs. Here is a list of trainers. Here is a close up look at Ocllo. Get a horse to get around the island faster! A - Scribe Trainer B - Bard Trainer C - Stables D - Tinker E - Bank F - Miner Guild and Mining Cave G - Moongate H - Mage and Alchemist I - Bard Trainer J - Provisioners K - Smithy L - Tailor M - Tanner N - Healer O - Inn P - Docks Q - Bowyer R - Cotton Field S - Orc Fort T - Pirate Docks U - Bridge V - Evil Mage Tower Moongates! Moongates are a great way to explore the larger world. Hop through the Ocllo Moongate just east of the bank and set out to the town of your choice. You can see the map at the top of this post to help you navigate from the individual Moongates. Runebook Libraries! Find a runebook library you enjoy and mark a rune there as soon as possible! This will help you get around faster! Dungeons and making money! There are many ways to make money in Sosaria - dungeons, sheep farming, cotton gathering, mining, lumberjacking, etc. Use the modes of transportation listed above combined with Recall, Mark, Gate, Runes, Runebooks, Public Moongates, Horses, Packhorses, and even your own two feet when the need arises to move around the world! The Second Age! The Second Age offers a lot to new adventurers! Two cities offer shops - Delucia in particular has a wonderful sheep farm as well as room to mine in town! Orc forts, cemetaries, deserts, and infested forts have many monsters to be slain. Use Delucia Passage to travel quickly to Delucia and the rest of The Second Age. Or use one of the many other ways to get there! .
