Hello, so I decided to get back into UO and haven't played since 2000 when I was on Chessy shard and running with a small guild (10-15 peeps) called Dark Legacy [DLG]. I have been playing for about a week now, just went off Young protection, and building out my crafter toon so I can at try and make enough money to hang my own shingle somewhere in Sorsira. I forgot just how much i loved this game, still haven't played anything quite like it since (played 98-00). If this program has any vacancy right now, I would certainly be interested...at least until i get enough money to by a small house deed and find a spot to build. Im about 1/2 way there already. Just need a safe place to do mass crafting for a couple weeks or so. Also, not to turn this into a returning noob discussion, but when im ready to get my deed where are the more "active" places to look to place a house in the shard? And are there any active guilds that anyone can recommend that help with training, trading, etc. and general/mild rp? Trying to make the most of my reintroduction to the game. Cheers
I go out sometimes, just exploring and I time to time find spots that might be suitable. I also think you can place a small house in front of my L-shape. I should try it but havnt got the thumb out as I have 3 houses now and I do not really know what to do with the L-shape yet. I will decorate it in some way I suppose. Its close to Yew Crypt, just north of it so it is close to get to the undead. I suspect that I found a spot for a villa, but I am not 100% sure really but it looks like it should fit. It is in a jungle area I should add.
Chimi here, Thanks for the chance to use a house to get myself sorted here. I usually leave my IRC on even if I'm not currently playing so just get ahold of me whenever is good for you. Thanks a bunch!
Hello, I need a place to stay for around a week..or one afternoon, it would be truly appreciated Waiting for the chance...
Finally finished moving into my new house so another Ocllo cabin is free! Many thanks to ReZon for maintaining this great program, it was super helpful.
There is no set time limit, though most folks tend to move on once they have gotten a house of their own.
Heyooo, Was just let into an Occ New Players house by a surprisingly sober Captain Morgan. Super nice of you folks to set this up, never had such a helpful bunch around when getting started before! Cheers DamonTunes
In kidding aside, I can certainly move out to fit the new rush of people, my chars aren't even young anymore...I'm on house #2 and have $$$ saved. The house is mostly empty already. I will move things out this weekend and gladly relinquish this to the slew on new interested players. ReZon, thanks for everything, this has made the first 2 months of coming back to UO much more bearable and easier to re-adapt to the game. Can't thank you enough.
With Ocllo New Player Housing staying consistently full... announcing the addition of house #5 for new folks to stay in!
