    I’d just like to clarify, there is a huge difference between “One full load out of guards, summoned once, in a town you own (especially when outnumbered 2:1 already)” And a “Guard spam”..... (implying summoning them over and over and over...)

    Guards were summoned once in an outnumbered situation. Kinda what they are there for, I think.

    And to think that if Fatty Mike got 14 blue pets immediately upon CoMs return to their base, that he (or anyone else) wouldn’t of actually spammed guards to defend, after you asked us to just GIVE you magincia the other day, is laughable.

    Earn your town, then use the mechanics that allows you to. Trust me, it feels good to earn your way in UO, and accomplish things, and not just have it handed to you.

    You talk about wanting fights, CoM stole the sigils front TB base in a like 12v1 raid, so we came back with 4, plus some guards.... sounds reasonable to me.

    Anyway, good fights all around, I had fun win and loose yesterday, I hope everyone else did too!!!

    Firstly, at that time I was the only member that I knew of in CoM. The reason I proposed that you give me Magincia was so that we could get faction breeders placed and try to get more of the community involved with the attraction of owning a war horse. This would have given people who didn't know much about factions, another choice other than TB. Since then, I have seen that we have more active members in CoM so that is unnecessary and I am glad you did not agree to that.

    Secondly, we raided the base with 6 members. The only active members in the entire faction, who all happened to be on that time. Aside from having a good strategy to take people in to carry the sigils, the past few times we attempted to steal them there were at least, 4-5 hidden TB either on the bridge, in the base, or in the sigil room. So yes, we rolled in heavy looking for people to fight. I would also point out that again, not one single opposing faction member showed up at CoM before the guards were placed. Blues were used to scout, place boats, and what not. Now, if this is in response to the blue tames, understandable. No problems there. However, why scout on blues in the first place?
    Lastly, I agree. It has to be nice to finally see some active faction players running around. I am hopeful that moving forward we can all keep things on the up and up and enjoy what promises to be good fights and the nostalgia of UO. Look forward to seeing you out there!

    We should restore order / chaos and make our own "large tower defense" or something fun.... or guild wars, its either faction guards or tamer pvp and everyone logs.... I never had these issues with hally mages.... stun mages is just one HUGE gank once stunned.... MISS ME INSTA HIT HALLY MAGE :...(

    This is one aspect I really like about the faction tag. That and being out of the fight for 10min on death.

    What if performing a benificial action on an O-C char, flagged you orange for 2min, like a crim timer? Hmmm...

    So I was thinking today.... Most people just want good fights in factions, IF factions came back and had 15 on 15 fights all the time and base raids it would do nothing but gain steam IMO like hearing about other events in voice that other servers have. Most of all the issues I hear are CoM and TB issues.... 1. Town Guards being used and it stops the fun... 2. Bases being unequal and exploitable.

    I was thinking why don't we just SHUT DOWN COM & TB factions.... everyone gets the boot, the stone is inactive and now we have Minax and SL.... The bases are more comparable and less exploitable than the other two... maybe the Minax base we add a few single tile choke points in the rock path and extend the faction line in each base. These would be SUPER easy changes and would allow for a more condensed play, lets face it we don't have a 4k server population to faction from. None of these changes would effect faction era accuracy.

    Minax has 4 choke points, more aren't really needed. But more to the point about bases; if we all behave and play maturely, like the 30 year old "men" we are, then there shouldn't be a problem. CoM and Minax have a great gentleman's agreement in place now which saw us having tons of fun and unfair fights.

    Also. I'd hate to see the TB base close, it is really pretty and challenges us to think creatively to get in and out!

    Is the TB base still the castle in Britain? I ran trough there earlier today to check out some old sights and it was closed.
