Some of you might remember the !pc function on the Trade bot in #uortrade. As a returning/new player I missed the script so looked into recreating something to help other new players and vets alike who aren't familiar with the market and trends. Basically it's now at a point where I think it can help players. I've added a couple hundred items so far but there's still loads more to do. Here's how the "big reveal" on #uortrade went. I've not wrapped it into a "bot" just yet, so the script will still look as though I'm saying personally, and will be offline when I am. I've been building up prices based on advice from Project Sanctuary. Some items have synonyms: you can search for them under different phrases (plat, platinum, platinum coin). Others I might not have a price for yet, so be sure to suggest one using !pcfeedback once you make the sale. Updated with some carpentry, alchemy, blacksmith weapons, spawning rares and bods. Prices have been adjusted/set based on trade forum, irc discussion and vendors around Yew, Moonglow, Brit and random wandering. Some examples of types of prices you can find using !pc large smith bod, large cloth bod, large leather bod, large spined bod, leather bod, spined bod, horned bod, bulk order book, treasure maps and many more! I've also relaxed the search so that any searches with an s will also trigger the same item, for instance: Code: !pc arrow !pc arrows Would both return the same value for the item! The way the script works is to remove all the spaces from the query, so for instance "!pc ir onin gots" will look up ironingots. It then outputs the rest of the line that matches. You might notice repeat/similar lines, that's my crude approach to similar queries looking for the same item. Note that the list here will be out of date as soon as I change the master copy, but I'll update this one from time to time. Updated price for holiday coins, nightmares. Added new prices: silver, "normal" special fishing net, some seasonal rares, some 5th anni prices Added items to the list that have no known price. Rearranged rares section into daily, monthly etc. This update includes a massive new feature! You can use "!pc" to search for estimated values of magic weapons. The weapons you can get prices on are all slayers and non-slayer power/vanquishing. The data driving these values was kindly donated by @Keza, but has been double checked against the current market by myself and others. Thanks go to @Tuneful, @Dr Satan and @Bloodlust for their help. Further, if you don't want to spam the channel with price checks, you can now use !pc in private message. Eventually !pc will be hosted by a bot, but for now you can message me on Soear or SoearAway in IRC. Unless you start a conversation, I won't reply or comment on any price checking you send me privately. How Do I Use It? The following are examples of commands that will work Code: !pc +15 massive massive silver broadsword of vanq !pc massive spear of power +10 !pc silver longsword of force !pc +20 Elemental Ban Halberd of Might !pc two handed axe +25 of exorcism (Edit 16th Jan) This older image shows using "!pc weapon" but "!pc" works now too! Durability does not affect the estimated prices. These prices are only estimations and you might get a lot more, or a lot less from it in a trade. Some items like elemental ban and repond in particular can vary vastly, use this as an idea of the minimum you should be aiming for! As always please provide feedback on your sales using, for example "!pcfeedback +25 silver katana of power - 500k" Any other feedback is welcome.

I'll be switching off over new year, so !pc won't be online for a few days. Just wanted to share some numbers! I first started logging usage on September 22nd and there's been 1637 searches since then, with 212 unique usernames making those searches! The results are always perfect, but there's plans to add more data and better searching next year. The data file has ~620 possible matches covering all areas of item. Further to that there's !pc weapon providing endless combinations for slayer price suggestions! Thanks all for using !pc and hope you all have a happy and very profitable new year!
Hello, I've updated the master list above. Plus here's a list of functionality changes since my last post! ---16 Jan 2018 Updated weapon searches... you can search weapon prices using just !pc. For example "!pc silver spear" should return the same as "!pc weapon silver spear". Allowing searches for "statue" or "statuette" Searches begining with "a" such as "!pc a bolt of cloth" should now work. Added weapon prices from the christmas patch/scrolls Crude language should hopefully stop !pc from repeating the query Price changes: Added prices for more tailoring bod items Reduced price range for flower tapestry Added some variations for resources - logs, hides, bales, bolts Wand prices lowered for greater healing, mana drain and id Level 6 maps have gone up Holiday coin (5-7k) and plat (8-9k) prices have dropped Adjusted zookeeper prices, griz and ostard go up, wolf goes down Added values for more spawning rares Event items: NoH items see a dip, added thanksgiving items, liberty bells, christmas items Added instruments GM and slayer (still don't have prices for all), example search would be "!pc silver instrument" Added/updated prices for many carpentry items UO has SHIPS, not boats. I've updated the master price list up above, aswell as added a few changes to the script. This should help people spot typos and value their weapons better. Added a random message when no price was matched, to raise spirits. I kept adding to the total number of messages possible... for fun I recently realised that the user might instead want a link to the forum for their search. So I've reduced the number of random results, so that they should get a link more often. So for instance "!pc look for something" would give the following: http://uorforum.com/search/1/?q=look+for+something&t=post&o=date&g=1&c[node]=15 There may not be anything on the trade forum (ie if there was a typo!), but this should hopefully help people to look in what is probably the best place for information, if the bot returns nothing. It lets you check weapons using dropdowns, and also build lists so that you can compare prices of similar weapons, or create even a list for selling on the trade forum. Just remember that these are just estimates, you might find that high/low end weapons sell for a lot more/less. Thanks! - SoearBot
Bump + update. We recently changed lvl7 Tmaps values to more accurately reflect their lower prices on the market. "(level 7 - diabolically) 150,000 - 225,000 gold each." If you guys see large differences between the !pc system and whats happening in forums auctions feel free to post it here. The !pc system always needs adjustments over time as its a reflection of current market prices.
glad to see that this is still updated and it does need some adj I think I will be making a list and I encourage others to do the same for any item they feel is off
