Some of you might remember the !pc function on the Trade bot in #uortrade. As a returning/new player I missed the script so looked into recreating something to help other new players and vets alike who aren't familiar with the market and trends. Basically it's now at a point where I think it can help players. I've added a couple hundred items so far but there's still loads more to do. Here's how the "big reveal" on #uortrade went. I've not wrapped it into a "bot" just yet, so the script will still look as though I'm saying personally, and will be offline when I am. I've been building up prices based on advice from Project Sanctuary. Some items have synonyms: you can search for them under different phrases (plat, platinum, platinum coin). Others I might not have a price for yet, so be sure to suggest one using !pcfeedback once you make the sale. If you have any suggestions for improvement, any suggested prices or search terms, then please use !pcfeedback, or message me here/irc. Some examples of usage: Code: > !pc help > Type "!pc Name of an item" to get an estimated price for an item. Prices are based on recent trade activity and player discussion. Use "!pcfeedback message" to help provide price information and comments. If there's no result then the item might not have been added yet, or may need a synonym needs to be added. > !pc barbed leather > Price check barbed leather - 15 to 25 gold each. > !pc expertly drawn treasuremap > Price check expertly drawn treasuremap - 2,500 gold each. > !pc level 5 map > Price check level 5 map - 20,000 gold each. > !pc black sheep > Price check black sheep - 5,000 gold each. > !pc weapon silver katana of force > Price check for weapon silver katana of force: 46200 gold. > !pcfeedback Your price for black sheep is too high, I've only been able to sell them for 2,000.
